You provide a Texas property address to initiate an analysis. This is used solely to retrieve publicly available appraisal district records and run the analysis.

b. Payment Information

Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card number, billing address, or other full payment details. We receive only a transaction confirmation and a non-sensitive identifier from Stripe.

c. Email Address (if provided)

If you contact us at support@taxprotesttexas.com or provide your email voluntarily, we retain that email solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list without explicit opt-in.

d. Usage and Technical Data

We may collect standard server logs and analytics data (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session duration) to maintain and improve the Service. This data is not linked to personally identifiable information and is not sold.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

• retrieve and analyze publicly available property appraisal data
• generate and deliver your property analysis report
• process your payment through Stripe
• respond to support inquiries
• maintain, debug, and improve the Service

Tax Protest Texas is designed to operate with minimal personal data collection. We do not collect:

We use the following third-party services in operating the Service:

• ATTOM Data Solutions - property data (publicly available records)
• Hosting and infrastructure providers - servers and content delivery

5. Public Property Data

The core data used in your analysis - appraisal values, property characteristics, and comparable sales - is drawn from publicly available Texas county appraisal district records and publicly licensed commercial real estate databases. This data is not private and is accessible to anyone under Texas public records law.

6. Your Rights Under Texas Law

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), if applicable to your situation, you may have the right to:

• know what personal data we hold about you
• request correction of inaccurate data
• request deletion of your data
• opt out of any sale of personal data (we do not sell data)

7. Data Retention

We retain property analysis data and associated records for a reasonable period to provide customer support and resolve disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Email correspondence is retained as needed to resolve open inquiries.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information held by or transmitted to us. However, no internet-based service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy
